“Xuôi dòng Cửu Long” is a calendar that ONE collaborated with Kim Tài Phúc Jewelry for the Lunar New Year of the Snake in 2024. To depict the image of the Mekong Delta, the calendar is designed with a strong cultural imprint of the Southwest region.
ONE team has developed the idea based on a story in the Land of the South and cleverly interwoven the sacred beliefs of the Vietnamese people.
Inspired by the bustling and bright atmosphere of the Western festivals, early morning floating markets and golden rice fields, ONE focused on creating vibrant colors in the final product. At the same time, the calendar is drawn on a matte texture to create a harmonious and visually balanced feeling for the viewer.
To create depth in terms of content, the months in the “Xuôi dòng Cửu Long” calendar are also interspersed with the symbol of a majestic dragon, stretching up to the sky. ONE chose to depict the image of the Heavenly Dragon with a bright orange color, intertwining in the spiritual life and gradually stimulating the desire to break out in the new year of the Vietnamese people.
